i helped plan, organize, and institute my church youth group's summer theme for the last two summers. even though my day job is mostly sitting in a large, vanilla office building, draining off melatonin, i was, in a former life, a programs director at a summer camp, and still have both the desire and (i guess) ability to help put these sorts of things on. here's the home page for the adventures of johnny velvet. there's a whole lot to put up there, and a lot to organize, so let me know if you get a sniff of it and think you might want more.

pretty simple stuff, here. in our 'big church' service, we're starting to put up images before the worship time, to help transition from the pre-service chatting time to the in-service worship time. i could go on and on about how difficult it is to accomplish this thing, but our worship minister and i are doing what we can--and this is a small part of it. generally, i've just been working with whatever sermon theme and scripture my pastor gets to me beforehand. this gallery should grow by the week.

(note: i haven't the foggiest idea what the legality of these images are, so i figure as long as i don't sell them or anything, we'll all be good. most of them i just found laying around the internet somewhere.)
