maybe my very favorite piece of software, in that it is free, and it was created by someone who just wanted to do so for the good of humanity. if you're at all technically inclined, it's pretty easy to pick up and use. you just have to learn a very simple code for the way you type your leadsheets.

so i was thinking, hey, it'd be great if i could find a free program that worked just like a printer driver, except instead of printing out my songsheets on paper, it 'wrote' .pdfs, you know, easily distributed adobe acrobat documents. now, i'm not saying that anyone should do this for profit or anything, but in my worship-leading life, there are many time when it sure would be handy to have lead sheets all made up in .pdf format ahead of time. so, if this appeals to you too, i have a free solution (only a nag screen to cramp your style.
